High Scoring Games
|
In light of Man Cs demolition of Watford today what high scoring games have you been to whether on the winning or losing side?
The few I remember that I was at are:
West Ham 5 Bradford 4 (Di Canio and Lampard pen argument) West Ham 6 Barnsley 0 (Abou running the game) West Ham 3 WBA 4 (Disgraceful meltdown) West Ham 3 Wimbledon 4 (About 200 Don's fans in away end)

I think there was a 4-3 v Sheff Wed about twenty years ago (which was shown on sky on a Monday night I think). They were 3-2 up, had a players sent off for two yellows and we turned it round.
May well have been the same season as the 5-4 v Bradford featuring the infamous Lampard versus Di Canio spat over who took a penalty.

Went to most of those mentioned except some of the earlier ones. The Wimbledon one always stands out. Was in the west side and everyone was going potty.

Well I was at the 2-8 reverse to Blackburn in '63, but also the 7-0 tonking of dirty Leeds in '66 and the 8-0 drubbing of Sunderland in '68. But by far the worst stuffing I've seen us suffer was the st Valentines day massacre at Boundary Park. I never want to go through a game like that again.

Never played in a game when we slaughtered our opponents.
Unfortunately, played in quite a few where we GOT slaughtered.

Only once have I sat right next to the away fans, in chav corner against West Brom one year. I think we were 3-0 up at HT and they beat us 4-3 irrelevant. How’s your luck

My first two games at old Trafford gave me a total of 1 goal for and 13 against. Also seem it's concede 6 at Goodison and I think it was 6 at reading I don't go to many away games these days!

Seen us lose 7-1 at both Blackburn and man utd.
Took the lead at old trafford, so at least we had about a minute of being happy.
